Alan Mathison Turing was born the 23rd June 1912.
He studied in the famous university of Cambridge at the King’s College.
After his studies, he worked as a teacher of mathematics in the city of Cambridge.
Then the second war arrived. The British government needed the help of Alan.
Alan worked in the house of Bletchley Park in the north of London.
The role of Alan was to decrypt the codes of a German machine called Enigma.
These codes were used to pass information during the war.
Alan Turing created a machine that had the capacity to crack the code of Enigma ( The Bomb ).
After the war, Alan Turing is accused of being homosexual.
The homosexuality in Great Britain is illegal at this time.
The verdict was to be castrated. Two weeks after his chemical castration Alan Turing died at the age of 41 (the 7th June 1954).
He killed himself with cyanide that he put on an apple. ( He saw many times the movie Snow White).
He was rehabilitated by the queen Elisabeth II in the year 2013.
In my opinion, Alan Turing is a hero of the second war and of the last century.
To conclude, Alan Mathison Turing is the inventor of the computer.
Steve Jobs is just the successor of Alan Turing.
